first official journal post.. about me but meant for someone else...

1. everyone calls me Val (in North America at least).. I was born in a little town off the siberian tundra (my mother was taking a vacation there while she was pregnant strangely enough) but my official hometown is Volgograd Russia, which used to be called Stalingrad till Hitler wiped it off the map

2. From Russia I moved to Israel once the soviet union collapsed when I was 3 ('91).. 12 years, a divorce and several suicide bombings later I moved to Canada where I reside today.. currently in London but will be moving back to Toronto for university

3. my eyes continually change colour.. on my health card it says they're gray but they can also be green and blue

4. I have a fascination with the eastern world, particularly Japan which led me to know more about asians than most white people should lol hence why all my asian friends introduce me as "The Egg" white on the outside but yellow on the inside XDD

5. my writer's craft teacher said that with a bit more polishing I could be writing for the Star... I told her to lay off the peace pipe..

6. ...ninjas are cool

P.S. for all those wondering Val is a shortform of my full name which is Valentin..
